- 1. Safe Tear-Up: We carefully cut the carpet into manageable strips and pull it up, along with the underlying foam padding. We wear masks and use proper ventilation techniques to minimize dust in your home.
- 2. Tack Strip & Staple Removal: If you are installing hardwood or tile, we can pry up the wooden tack strips around the edges of the room and pull the staples out of the subfloor.
- 3. Heavy Lifting: We roll up the heavy, dusty carpet and padding, tape it securely, and carry it out to our trucks.
- 4. Clean Subfloor: We sweep and vacuum the exposed subfloor so your flooring contractors can get right to work.
